The Special Interest Group has a logo, courtesy of Tina Worthy of the Ergonomics Society. Now it needs a slogan. The entries will be judged by the Ergonomics Society and a prize for the winning entry will be awarded.

Entries

From Tom Mayfield:

Ergonomics - for those in peril on the sea!

Ergonomics - Ashore and Afloat

David Squire: Putting the mariner into context

BrianSherwoodJones - 01 Jul 2005 (pasted from the bottom of the edit page): Useful data for usable ships. I'll have to split the prize with Jorgen Rasmussen since usable ships is his idea.

-- BrianSherwoodJones - 01 Jul 2005

DonaldAnderson - 19 July 2005:

...Ships need People need Ergonomics...

Maybe another later. --TWiki.DonaldAnderson - 19 Jul 2005

JonMcGregor - 14 Sep 2005: "Reaching for tomorrow, so you don't have to."

StephenWells - 27 Sep 2005: (i) "Floating Ideas for a Floating world" (ii) "Putting the 'hip' into ship" (iii) "A ship without people is a heap of scrap metal"

Marc Lassagne - 31 March 2006: I really like Stephen Wells' last submission (maybe add "is JUST a heap of scrap metal"?); my own submissions: (i) "navigo ergo sum"; (ii) "helping people give ships their shape" (or more simply: "people give ships their shape").
